ceremony is at times defined as a formal act without intrinsic purpose, an empty form. This ongoing body work is just that, a ritual of authority with some set rules that are written nowhere but my mind. Cutting these mixed fibers into soft rectangles is the start of the ritual and the arranging of these pieces becomes the meditation.
